Our Vision
To provide children with a friendly, welcoming, safe, and stimulating, home-from-home environment that enables them to become inquisitive, active learners and where they can flourish. We strive to deliver fun filled curriculum based on children’s interests enriched with experiences of exploration and discovery.
Our Intent
To build a setting that offers a calming environment rich with natural explorative curious resources. To provide Early Years Practitioners that have the underpinning knowledge of child development and the passion to deliver a child focused curriculum of fun, education and safety based on using quality interactions to draw out the children’s knowledge and build on it there and then (in moment planning). Therefore, ensuring every individual child meets their full potential.
The home from home environment alongside caring, nurturing practitioners will form strong relationships between both children and families creating a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing. Children who feel that they belong are happier, more relaxed, creating motivated, successful learners.
Montessori believed that children who are at liberty to choose and act freely within an environment prepared according to her model would act spontaneously for optimal development.
The Cherubs Factor
Here are just some of the extra services we provide to ensure we lay strong foundations and make every Cherub’s learning-experience one that each child will treasure.
The Cherubs Teddy-Bear personalities
At Cherubs each room has its own bear. Children can take a bear home, on holiday or to events. Our bears have been all over the world and they are always ready for their next adventure!
The Cherubs Team
We take care and effort in encouraging continuous professional development in our practitioners. We have a highly qualified graduate management team and well-qualified team of early years practitioners.
We are an enthusiastic, caring team of professionals dedicated to providing every opportunity for children to discover the desire and enjoyment of learning through daily experiences. Each child’s key person celebrates and enjoys caring professional relationships with the children in our care and their families.
The greatest sign of success for a teacher... is to be able to say, ’The children are now working as if I did not exist.’
